On February 4, the negotiation process began in Abu Dhabi in a trilateral format involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.

This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, who is leading the Ukrainian delegation at the talks.

Work will first proceed in separate groups according to specific areas, after which a joint session is planned to synchronize positions.

“We are working within the clear directives of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to achieve a dignified and lasting peace. We inform the Head of State about the progress of each stage of the negotiations,” Rustem Umerov noted.

Earlier this week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with our negotiating team ahead of the round of trilateral talks. He stressed that Ukraine is ready for concrete steps and believes it is realistic to achieve a dignified and lasting peace.
