The Unmanned Systems Forces conduct systematic detection, identification, and destruction of enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs.
A video of combat operations was published on the page of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
Intercepting and destroying enemy UAVs significantly reduces the enemy’s ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance, adjust artillery fire, and limits their ability to strike rear infrastructure and Defense Forces positions.
“Fighters of the 429th ‘Achilles’ Brigade of unmanned systems have destroyed more than 100 aerial targets just this month”, — the statement reads.
The video shows the destruction of the enemy UAV “Kniaz Veshchiy Oleg”, designed for deep reconnaissance (40–45 km) and fire adjustment. The drone uses fiber-optic communication, which increases resistance to EW.
The video also shows the destruction of “Lancet”, Zala, and other reconnaissance UAVs.
