Presidents of Ukraine and Romania Discuss Joint Drone Production and Black Sea Security
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Romanian counterpart Nicușor Dan held a meeting during the Carpathian Eight summit.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on social media.
The two leaders discussed areas in which Ukraine and Romania could deepen their cooperation, including participation in the SAFE programme, joint drone production, and infrastructure and humanitarian projects.
Particular attention was paid to security in the Black Sea region.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also highlighted the potential of regional cooperation within the Carpathian initiative to develop the economy, strengthen security and deepen ties between people.
The President thanked Romania for its support for the Carpathian initiative and its consistent assistance to Ukraine.
