Launched from occupied Donetsk region, not alone: details emerge of SBU building attack in Kyiv
The strike was carried out by a russian “Geran-4” drone flying at an altitude of more than 7 kilometers.
This was reported on September 5 by Serhii Beskrestnov, Adviser to the President of Ukraine on Defence Technologies, call sign “Flash”.
According to him, all systems tracked the flight path of this jet-powered “Shahed” from the Donetsk direction to Kyiv at an altitude of more than 7 kilometers.
“So we understand who launched the UAVs and from where. We have already examined the debris and established that they belong to the ‘Geran-4’, including most of its components.
So we understand exactly what flew to us and in what configuration,” “Flash” said.
According to him, during this special operation against the SBU, two jet-powered UAVs flew toward Kyiv as a pair, but only one reached the city.
As ArmyInform reported, Serhii “Flash” explained why FPV drones mounted on “Shaheds” are ineffective.
