Ukraine's Defence Forces have carried out more than 100,000 logistics and evacuation missions using unmanned ground vehicles since the beginning of 2026.

This was reported on the website of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.

As Minister of Defence of Ukraine Yevhenii Khmara stressed, the lives and health of soldiers are an absolute value, and technology is needed so that Ukrainian defenders have the advantage and the risk to the individual is reduced to a minimum.

The number of missions carried out by unmanned ground vehicles has been rising since the start of the year:

  • January — 7,511;
  • February — 7,960;
  • March — 9,072;
  • April — 11,028;
  • May — 14,059;
  • June — 16,664;
  • July — 19,969;
  • 1–20 August — 15,729.

July remains the month with the highest number of tasks performed by unmanned ground vehicles.

At the same time, the need for these systems is growing steadily. To significantly expand their use on the front line, the Ministry of Defence has substantially increased its procurement volumes and revised the assessed level of need for such vehicles this year.

Key delivery and order figures since the start of 2026:

  • more than 22,000 unmanned ground vehicles have already been contracted;
  • troops have ordered these systems worth almost UAH 1.9 billion through Brave1 Market under the eBaly (e-Points) programme.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence continues to work actively on integrating unmanned ground vehicles into the Defence Forces in order to shift front-line logistics onto them and save the lives of Ukrainian troops.
