A decision of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council imposing sanctions on entities working for Russia's military-industrial complex has taken effect.

The signing of the corresponding Presidential Decree was announced on the evening of 3 August.

The sanctions cover 23 companies and 20 individuals linked to them, which produce and supply equipment and components for Russia’s military-industrial complex and security agencies in circumvention of sanctions.

Among them is Kidma Tech, which manufactures optical instruments, air defence systems and multiple launch rocket systems, and repairs air-to-air and anti-tank guided missiles, and the Morozov Plant, part of the sanctioned Rostec corporation.

The latter produces explosives, rocket fuel and materials for missile systems, and in particular supplies solid-fuel charges for the engine of the Iskander-M ballistic missile. The list also includes Spetselektronkomplekt, which is involved in the production of guided air-launched missiles, and the Aurum company, which supplies electronic warfare systems and drones to the Russian occupation forces.

Russian IT companies that develop digital solutions and information security software for state and private customers are also on the list.

“We are continuing systematic work to impose sanctions on weapons manufacturers, ballistic missile producers in particular, and other companies that sustain the operation of Russia’s military-industrial complex. Every enterprise that loses access to components, technology or financing will produce fewer ballistic missiles, drones and other weapons for the war. The more states join such restrictions, the weaker Russia’s capacity to strike Ukraine will become,” said Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Adviser and Commissioner to the President on Sanctions Policy.

As ArmyInform reported earlier, Ukraine imposed sanctions on 10 Russian mobile operators and internet providers.
