President of Ukraine Meets Prime Minister of Poland
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk in Lublin.
This was announced on the evening of 29 July.
The two sides discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, including the historical dialogue between Ukraine and Poland.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed his counterpart on Ukraine’s diplomatic efforts in Washington.
They also discussed defence cooperation and priority measures to protect Ukrainian cities and communities from Russia’s brutal strikes.
“Anti-ballistic capability is a key priority. The security and protection of Ukraine also mean the security and protection of Poland. Our cooperation strengthens both our region and all of Europe,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The leaders separately addressed the security challenges that Ukrainians unfortunately face. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the importance of ensuring that Ukrainians who left their homes because of the war and found refuge in Poland feel safe.
As ArmyInform reported earlier, the President visited Ukrainian sailors who had taken part in the Sea Breeze exercises.
