President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Washington, on a working visit to the United States.

According to the Ukrainian President, the visit’s agenda includes a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

 

“The schedule includes meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can help strengthen our defense. Priority No. 1 is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with the United States. Peace must come closer,” Zelenskyy wrote.

 

The Ukrainian leader will also attend a memorial ceremony honoring Senator Lindsey Graham.

 

“Together with everyone attending the ceremony in Washington, we will honor his efforts to advance security and freedom across the Euro-Atlantic region and beyond,” President Zelenskyy added.
