Ukraine aims to secure more Patriot interceptor missiles, a production license for the system, and finalize the Drone Deal agreement with the U.S.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has reached several important defense agreements with the United States and NATO partners, including arrangements concerning Patriot air defense systems, drone production, and long-term security cooperation.

According to the President, Ukraine and its partners are working on expanding the country’s air defense capabilities through additional Patriot systems and licensed production opportunities. The discussions also covered joint drone manufacturing projects aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense industry and increasing the supply of modern unmanned systems.

Zelensky emphasized that these agreements are designed not only to address Ukraine’s immediate defense needs but also to establish long-term strategic cooperation with allied nations. He noted that continued international support remains essential for protecting Ukrainian cities, critical infrastructure, and civilians from ongoing Russian attacks.

The President thanked the United States, NATO member states, and all partner countries for their unwavering support and stressed that coordinated efforts are crucial for ensuring peace and security in Europe.
