The United Kingdom will allocate €300 million to supply Ukraine with 16 modern aircraft
The United Kingdom will provide 300 million euros to supply Ukraine with 16 modern aircraft in cooperation with Sweden.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced this during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
“I can announce that the United Kingdom will provide 300 million euros in support to deliver, in cooperation with Sweden, 16 new state-of-the-art aircraft to help defend Ukraine’s skies. This is yet another confirmation that the British people stand with you,” said Keir Starmer.
During the talks, the parties discussed the situation on the front lines, the development of Ukraine’s long-range capabilities, and further coordination of defense support.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the United Kingdom for its unwavering support of Ukraine, noting that since the start of the full-scale war, British aid has exceeded 11 billion pounds sterling, of which nearly 8 billion is military support.
“Ukraine has confidence in the UK, and it is important that we have all the necessary assurances that the commitment to supporting our defense and our strong relations with the UK will continue,” the Head of State emphasized.
The meeting also addressed the implementation of the Centennial Partnership Agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, further intensifying sanctions pressure on Russia, and the development of bilateral defense cooperation.
According to Keir Starmer, the United Kingdom is taking Ukraine’s combat experience into account as it modernizes its own Armed Forces and develops its unmanned capabilities.

As reported by ArmyInform, Ukraine and the EU have taken the first step toward a “Drone Deal”: the European Commission will allocate €1 billion for drone production.
