The President of Ukraine met with the leaders of several European countries, including Denmark, with which Ukraine signed an agreement under the Drone Deal.

The President announced this on social media.

According to the President, this is already Ukraine’s ninth such agreement, and it is important that more and more partners are joining this format.

The Drone Deal creates greater opportunities for joint defense production, the exchange of expertise, and transparency in arms exports.

“Together we are building a new security architecture. I thank Denmark, and personally Mette Frederiksen, for this step toward strengthening our common defense”, — the President of Ukraine stated.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that it was with Denmark that Ukraine began joint defense production under the Danish model, and that it is entirely fair that Denmark will now have access to Ukrainian weapons exports that have been tested in war.

The President also discussed with the Prime Minister of Denmark the strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense and work on a European anti-ballistic capability.

“It is critically important for us now to receive missiles for Patriot systems as quickly as possible and to jointly develop Europe’s own capabilities for protection against ballistic threats. I thank Denmark for its continued support for our people — defense, financial, and for all contributions to the PURL program”, — the President concluded.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, and the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz.

Norway is making a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s air defense in the energy sector, and it is now crucial that this support continues. The President thanked Norway for its continued defense and financial assistance to Ukraine.

“We focused on joint defense production, financing Ukrainian military technologies, and work on the Drone Deal. We agreed that our teams will actively work on implementing all the agreements reached”, — the President said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine highly values Germany’s leadership in strengthening Ukraine’s air defense through bilateral support and substantial contributions to the PURL program.

“We are also preparing a Drone Deal with Germany and working on the creation of a joint European anti-ballistic system”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The President thanked Germany and Chancellor Friedrich Merz personally for their support and for the steps taken toward developing a European anti-ballistic capability.

“This is the only way to guarantee reliable protection of lives in Europe against missile threats”, — the President of Ukraine concluded.
