In March, Russian oil losses following long-range strikes by Ukraine’s Defense Forces are estimated at no less than $2.3 billion.

This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“This is just one month. Now, in April, we are continuing. I would like to especially acknowledge the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 98th Reconnaissance Center of the Special Operations Forces, the 19th Missile Brigade, the 360th Separate Coastal Missile Brigade, and our special forces: the Security Service of Ukraine, intelligence – and everyone who is working to reduce Russia’s capabilities and to increase our security – the security of Ukraine,” the head of state said.

He added that he had discussed further deep-strike operations with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi: “We will continue our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war.”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also stated that a new U.S. decision had been made to ease oil sanctions. According to him, this brings no real benefit to diplomacy, and every dollar from oil only encourages Russia to continue the war.

“But even with this money, they still will not solve their problems. Our long-range sanctions continue to work – I am grateful to all our warriors for their precision,” he said.

As reported by ArmyInform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified the results of the strike on the oil refinery near the Russian city of Tuapse on April 16 – the AVT-12 primary oil refining unit and RVS-10000 storage tanks were damaged, with fires reported.

At the oil products terminal, equipment at oil loading berths, buildings, and RVS-10000 storage tanks were also damaged.

It was previously reported that due to long-range strikes by Ukraine’s Defense Forces on Russian ports in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea, Russia will be forced to reduce its oil production.
