“No buildup of weapons observed yet”: the enemy is accumulating reserves in the Kostiantynivka direction
Occupiers have noticeably reduced their offensive activity in the Kostiantynivka direction and are likely accumulating reserves to resume assaults under favorab
This was reported during an Army TV stream on March 9 by Vitalii Piasetskyi, chief sergeant of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar”, call sign “Stokhid”.
“At the moment the situation has not undergone any significant changes. It is quite stable. The enemy is practically not conducting any major assault actions.
They are adhering to the tactic of infiltration by small groups through combat formations and attempts to accumulate somewhere near the line of contact, already somewhat closer in our rear”, — he said.
Sometimes the enemy imitates preparation for assaults using armored vehicles, but beyond certain preparatory steps it has not progressed.
“Certain moments were noted — preparation for a possible assault or perhaps an attempt to mislead the Defense Forces by imitating preparation for assaults with equipment.
Demining was conducted, passages were made in non-explosive barriers.
But at the moment the formation of any columns or accumulation of armored vehicles has not been recorded”, — the serviceman reported.
Despite the fact that no serious buildup of enemy forces and means for the near-term resumption of assaults has been detected, intelligence indicates that Russians are preparing to resume assaults as soon as favorable conditions arise.
“No buildup of weapons is observed yet. But compared with previous months, especially winter ones, the enemy’s relatively low activity may be connected with the fact that they are trying to accumulate certain reserves — both manpower and strike capabilities — in order to become active when favorable conditions arise.
Accordingly, we are also preparing for this — preparing reserves, reinforcements, and strike capabilities so that in case of escalation we can respond promptly and destroy the enemy”, — Vitalii Piasetskyi assured.
