Oil terminal and naval base in Novorossiysk hit — General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
During the night of March 2, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Sheskharis” oil terminal and the “Novorossiysk” naval base in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
According to preliminary information, the oil-loading piers of the terminal and a radar station of the S-400 complex were hit.
A large fire was recorded at the site. The extent of damage and other results are being clarified.
Additionally, four RVS-5000 storage tanks were destroyed, three RVS-2000 tanks and pipelines were damaged, as well as an underground tank — these are consequences of the February 28 strike on the “Albashneft” oil refinery in Krasnodar region.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue systematic actions aimed at weakening the offensive capabilities and reducing the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor”, — the General Staff reported.
