General Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that this winter the enemy lost 92,850 servicemen killed and wounded — 1,031 per day.

He wrote this on March 2.

According to him, during this period the enemy lost:

  • 322 tanks;

  • 430 armored combat vehicles;

  • 2,967 artillery systems;

  • 110 MLRS;

  • 55 air-defense systems;

  • five aircraft;

  • one helicopter;

  • 65,269 operational-tactical UAVs;

  • one ship and one submarine;

  • 11,927 vehicles;

  • 65 units of special equipment.

During the three winter months, the Defense Forces eliminated more enemy soldiers than Russia managed to recruit.

In February 2026, for the first time since the Kursk offensive operation, Ukrainian Defense Forces regained control of more territory than the enemy managed to capture.

“We are conducting effective active operations in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole directions. Despite repeated statements of the Russian leadership, we are only strengthening control over Kupiansk and reducing the number of enemy saboteurs in the city. We continue to restrain the enemy near the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration. We hold the line”, — the Commander-in-Chief stated.

He thanked Ukrainians for their resilience and support of the army.

“I am sincerely grateful to the Ukrainian warriors, thanks to whom we endured this difficult winter”, — Oleksandr Syrskyi summed up.
