The missile has a wingspan of about 3 meters, a warhead weighing 800 kg, and a range of at least 1,500 km.
These data were published by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the War&Sanctions portal in the “Components in Weapons” section.
DIU released an interactive 3D model, main components, and parts of the enemy’s new cruise missile “Izdeliye-30”, as well as information about 20 enterprises involved in its production cooperation.
The first recorded uses of the new missile against Ukraine occurred at the end of last year.
Based on markings and structural features, the item was identified as a development of the Zvezda Design Bureau, which is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation.
Some technical solutions are unified with other products of this developer and the corporation in general.
In particular, the installed pyrovalve of the pneumatic system is identical to elements of the Kh-35U missile, while the aircraft ejection device is similar to the AKU-5M systems used for missiles of the types Kh-101, Kh-55, and Kh-555.
The satellite navigation system, likely for the first time in enemy cruise missiles, is represented by a combination of products from two different Russian companies — an interference-protected satellite signal receiver with a digital antenna array “Kometa-M12” produced by “VNIIR-Progress”, and a reception-computing unit produced by “KB Navis”, created on the basis of the NAVIS NR9 receiver.
An interface unit produced by ANPP “Temp-Avia”, known for manufacturing flight controllers for guided aerial bombs, is used for their integration.
All three components of the navigation system contain parts from foreign manufacturers — the USA, Switzerland, China, and the Netherlands.
The separate electronic control unit for the warhead, BUBS-30, is made using a Russian component base. Its key component is a 32-bit ARM architecture microcontroller, the 1986VE1AT, produced by “PKK Milandr”.
“DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues systematic work on studying the enemy’s new developments and informing the world to jointly counter threats”, — the report said.
