In the Sloviansk direction, the Russians are sending fresh reinforcements into battle — soldiers who blindly believe in the effectiveness of their protective an
A soldier with the call sign “Kalash” from the unmanned systems company of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade said this during an Army TV livestream.
“Mostly these are fresh fighters who recently signed contracts, and the only thing that motivates them is money — and for some, supposedly freedom — because most of them are former prisoners of the Russian Federation. So the motivation varies, but generally they are fresh servicemen”, — he said.
Despite this, Kalash stressed that the enemy must not be underestimated, as Russian assault troops are motivated and try to fulfill the tasks assigned to them.
“They are under methods of intimidation — or I don’t know what motivates them there. They go, they carry out the tasks given to them, they try to fulfill them. And you cannot underestimate the enemy”, — the soldier emphasized.
Commenting on the enemy’s use of camouflage and protective gear, Kalash skeptically assessed the effectiveness of the Russians’ “penguin-like” ponchos.
“They hope this helps them, that it is effective. I think they’re being convinced it helps them, and they try to move unnoticed — as they think. But this works to our advantage, because they use methods that are ineffective and help us detect and destroy them faster”, — he said.
