The enemy continues to occupy several buildings adjacent to the city center from the north, in the area of the city hospital.
This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Grouping, on the air of the “The First” TV channel.
“These are several high-rises where about 20 active Russian call signs were recorded yesterday. They’re simply slowly running out there”, — Viktor Trehubov assured.
According to him, the enemy is trying to push toward Lyman, Stavky, and Yampil.
“The tactic is standard — infiltration, attempts by small groups in large numbers that just keep pushing in one specific direction. Plus, in the Lyman direction there is another problem: constant attacks on infrastructure and logistics routes”, — Trehubov noted.
He also said that fighting continues in the Sumy region, where the occupiers control the village of Hrabovske and are trying to seize the villages of Popivka and Pokrovka.
“Within the region, this is not much, but again, the very fact that Russians are on Ukrainian territory cannot make us happy, and everything is being done so that they are not there”, — Trehubov assured.
