In the Kupiansk direction, Russians are capturing territory in a virtual mode. In reality — they are sitting encircled.

This was reported on the national telethon “United News” by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Formation.

According to him, regarding Kupiansk itself, the Russians have fully immersed themselves in an alternate reality and began “capturing” the city and nearby settlements in virtual mode. Because in objective reality, the city is controlled by the Defense Forces. Only a small group of Russians is sitting in several high-rise buildings in the city center. The encircled are incapable of any active actions. They survive on what drones deliver to them.

“These drones are partly shot down. But the window for intercepting them is narrow, so some get through. On the other hand, a drone capable of this does not have a very large payload capacity. You cannot airlift reinforcements. Even a North Korean — he weighs too much to be transported by a drone. They are supplied with ammunition, radio batteries — nothing more”, — the spokesperson said.

The occupiers have been pushed not only out of the city but also out of the outskirts. They are, however, trying to compensate. For example, they are “very actively” pressing east of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, but without success.

“There is no success here, but there are statements by Russian media that they have completely captured Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. Though they have not captured it at all; they have not even approached its administrative boundary”, — Viktor Trehubov noted.
