North Korean “Hurricane” destroyed at its combat-use distance: Nemesis strikes rare enemy equipment
A rare M1991 multiple launch rocket system from North Korea was destroyed in the enemy’s rear tens of kilometers from the front line by fighters of the 412th Ne
This was the second case of destroying this system during this war.
A fighter of the 412th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade Nemesis told ArmyInform about this.
“The M1991 is a 240-mm multiple launch rocket system, an analogue of the Soviet ‘Uragan’. A certain number of such artillery systems were delivered to the Russian army by North Korea last year.
The system is long-range, with a firing distance of up to 60–80 km. The Russians preserve them and use them far from the line of contact. Therefore, detecting and destroying such systems is quite a difficult task.
The strike was delivered with a middle-strike asset, the name of which is not disclosed, at the combat-use distance of this MLRS”, — he said.
