In the Huliaipole direction, units of the 33rd Assault Regiment eliminated so-called “flag-raisers” who infiltrated between Ukrainian positions.

The story was told to Army TV by a battalion commander of the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment with the callsign “Cadet”.

According to him, a small enemy group with flags attacked. Their task is psychological pressure — to show that they “took” the village. In reality, infantrymen ran into one house, tore up the floor, and dug in. But drones had been tracking them, so they were blocked in the house and then destroyed.

“Russians believe that if one of their infantry hides and buries himself under the floor, they’ve already taken the village. There was contact, they started shooting back, I pulled our infantry away and began dismantling their position with a ‘Vampire.’ Then I gave the order to eliminate them. Their training is weak — for example, if a group has three people, only one is trained and the other two are not”, — the commander said.
