The situation in the Pokrovsk direction has not fundamentally changed. In the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps, there is no escalation. Defenders are strengthening the protection of logistical routes and eliminating enemy infantry infiltrating between positions.
This was reported during the “United News” telethon by Volodymyr Polevyi, head of the communications department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
According to him, the corps effectively holds the lines north of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. However, the enemy fully exploits its tactical advantages. They currently have deep flanking from the north. Their electronic warfare systems and UAVs — particularly the “Rubicon” unit — are working effectively. The enemy continues massive use of glide bombs. The combat zone has turned into a kind of chessboard.
“For a long time now, along the entire front line, there has been no continuous line, no solid defensive line of Ukrainian troops. There is no uninterrupted line of trenches where infantry sit and observe or engage in combat. And this is true for both sides. Just as there are no continuous positions of ours, there are none for the Russians either”, — noted Polevyi.
