“Being a military driver is much more than just ‘Turning the Wheel’”: The story of driver ‘Kuk’

For Volodymyr, the main task remains unchanged — deliver everything necessary and bring people back alive from Pokrovsk.

His story was published on the YouTube channel of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.

“Being a military driver is much more than just turning the wheel. It’s constant maneuvering under enemy drones, knowing every safe path, and being ready at any moment to swap the steering wheel for a 12-gauge shotgun to take down another FPV”, — says “Kuk”.

He recalls one of the hardest nights, evacuating a wounded comrade, call sign “Mulya”, who had stepped on a mine.

Volodymyr himself has been wounded multiple times but always returned to duty.
