Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Aviation Development Oleksandr Kozenko held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Defense of the United Arab Emirates, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on January 21.

During the talks, the parties discussed ways to strengthen defense cooperation and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

Special attention was paid to exploring opportunities for developing partnerships in the defense industry, as well as in advanced technology sectors.

“The meeting took place on the sidelines of the exhibition of unmanned systems, modeling, and training UMEX 2026 / SimTEX 2026, which is being held in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates)”, — the statement said.
