Over the past week, Russian occupation forces conducted assault operations within the defense zone of the border brigade “Hart”. During this time, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 131 occupiers and wounded another 111.
Combat footage appeared on the brigade’s channel on January 19.
“A week of fighting in Kharkiv Oblast. The Hart Border Brigade is holding back attempts by the occupiers to breach the state border. The enemy tried from several directions to break through the brigade’s positions on the state border in Kharkiv Oblast”, — the statement said.
The enemy employed significant infantry forces without armored vehicles but with artillery, drones, and aviation support.
To strike enemy manpower at concentration points, border guards used heavy weapons — tube and rocket artillery. Strike drones hunted the invaders during their advance.
It was noted that border guards are holding their positions, repelling enemy attacks, and blocking attempts to cross Ukraine’s state border.
