A group of soldiers from the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade, led by a fighter with the callsign “Tuman”, spent nearly three months in positions near Pokrovsk under constant enemy artillery fire and FPV drone attacks.

This was reported by the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade.

“They did not abandon the position and held out until the very end”, — said the fighter of the 1st Rifle Battalion with the callsign “Tuman”.

Although concrete fortifications were being destroyed before their eyes, the infantrymen continued to hold their ground.

“Moreover, they managed to withdraw in an organized manner and evacuate a wounded soldier. This is a firsthand account of the price of Ukrainian defense and whose shoulders it rests upon”, — the 68th Brigade wrote.
