President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Denys Shmyhal, during which they discussed ensuring systematic work in key sectors of the state, particularly in the energy sector, taking into account security challenges and the consequences of Russian strikes.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on social media.
The Head of State thanked Denys Shmyhal for his systematic work at the Ministry of Defense and for the processes that were activated to strengthen Ukraine’s defense.
According to the President, such consistency and clear organization of work are now extremely necessary for Ukraine’s energy sector so that after each Russian strike the state can promptly restore destroyed infrastructure and ensure stable and sufficient development of the sector for domestic needs.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also reported that consultations were held with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.
“I count on parliamentary support for this approach and the position of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy regarding Denys Shmyhal”, — the President stated.
