Denis “White Rex” Kapustin is alive: the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine thwarted the assassination attempt on the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps unit, and the funds allocated by the occupiers for the contract killing have been transferred to the disposal of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This was reported by the DIU of the Ministry of Defense on its social media platforms.
The assassination of Denis Kapustin, commander of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” unit, which is fighting against Moscow as part of the “Timur Special Unit” of the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, was ordered by the special services of the aggressor state of Russia, which allocated half a million dollars for the crime.
As a result of a comprehensive special operation by the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which lasted over a month, the life of RVK commander Denis Kapustin was preserved. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin considers him a personal enemy. The circle of individuals — both customers within Russian intelligence services and executors — was also identified.
This was reported during a briefing to the Head of the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, by the commander of the “Timur Special Unit”.
“Our side also received the corresponding amount of funds allocated by Russian special services to carry out this crime. As of now, the RVK commander is on the territory of Ukraine and is preparing to continue carrying out assigned tasks”, — Timur reported.
Kyrylo Budanov congratulated RVK commander Denis Kapustin, who also joined the briefing via video link.
“First of all, Mr. Denis, congratulations on your return to life. That is always pleasant. I am glad that the funds received for the order of your liquidation went toward supporting our struggle. I wish all of us, and you personally, success”, — said the Head of the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
RVK commander Denis Kapustin, call sign White Rex, reported readiness to continue performing combat and special tasks at the head of the unit.
“My temporary absence did not affect the quality or success of combat missions. I am ready to move to the area of operations and continue commanding the RVK unit”, — the commander stated.
Kyrylo Budanov thanked Timur and the team of military intelligence officers for the successful and exemplary execution of the special operation.
