On New Year’s night, the Defense Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery and a number of key Russian facilities
As part of measures to reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, on the night of January 1 units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important enemy facilities.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai was hit. Impacts by strike UAVs were recorded, followed by a fire on the facility’s premises.
Fire damage was also inflicted on the Almetyevsk oil treatment unit in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
“The target was hit; results are being clarified”, — the General Staff stated.
In addition, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. In the area of the city of Donetsk, a storage facility for Shahed and Geran UAVs was hit; results are being clarified.
At the same time, near the settlement of Shevchenko, a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system was hit. Also, in the area of the city of Ilovaisk, a fuel and lubricants depot of the enemy’s 51st Army was struck, and a fire was recorded at the site.
Furthermore, in the area of Avdiivka, a command-and-observation post of an assault detachment of the 68th Tank Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division was hit.
