This meeting will be preceded by a meeting of national security advisers, which will take place on January 3 in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on December 30.

“Rustem Umerov (Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council — ed.) has just reported on the agreement with national security advisers of the Coalition of the Willing countries to hold a meeting in the near future.

We are planning it for January 3 in Ukraine. Shortly afterward, we will move to talks at the leaders’ level — such meetings are necessary.

We are planning January 6 in France. I am grateful to President Trump’s team for their readiness to participate in all effective formats. Today our teams communicated, and now we have discussed further steps and negotiation priorities with Rustem. We are not losing a single day. Thank you!” — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
