President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of the United States Donald Trump in Florida, at the Mar-a-Lago residence.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the meeting, during which a substantive discussion on all issues took place. The President specifically noted the progress achieved by the Ukrainian and American teams over the past weeks.

“Special thanks to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their involvement and full dedication, as well as to our team, first and foremost Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The leaders discussed all aspects of the peace framework and achieved significant results. According to the Head of State, some documents have already been fully agreed upon or are at the final stage of preparation. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump discussed the sequence of further steps.

“We agree that security guarantees are key to achieving a lasting peace, and our teams will continue working on all aspects”, — the Head of State emphasized.

Donald Trump noted that the teams have come very close to ending the war and will continue working in the format of working groups. The U.S. President separately highlighted the bravery of Ukrainian warriors and emphasized the importance of Ukraine for Europe and the United States.

The leaders agreed that Ukrainian and American teams will meet as early as next week to finalize all discussed issues.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump agreed on a joint meeting with European leaders, which is to take place in Washington in January.
