Losses of enemy GRU ‘Special Forces’ revealed following recent strike in Donetsk Region
Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, provided details of a strike carried out by the Unmanned Systems Forces in Donetsk region.

More than 120 special operations troops of Russia’s 14th GRU Special Forces Brigade were killed or wounded as a result of a planned operation conducted overnight on December 26 by drone operators of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces in the settlement of Berdianske, Donetsk region.
According to the Commander of the USF, losses resulting from the strike on the command post and personnel deployment sites amounted to:
- 51 killed;
- 74 wounded;
- an unspecified number of occupiers listed as missing.
As noted by Robert Brovdi, the 14th GRU Special Forces Brigade of the Russian Federation is a special unit based in Ussuriysk, tasked with reconnaissance and special operations for Russia’s GRU.
