As of 11:00 on December 27, as a result of a massive combined attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv and the Kyiv region, at least 41 people were injured and one woman was killed.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

On the night of December 27, during more than 11 hours of air-raid alerts, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region using missiles and attack drones.

Kyiv

The consequences of the shelling were recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital.

“At least 27 people are known to have been injured, 13 of them hospitalized. Two minors in the Darnytskyi district — children aged 9 and 16 — suffered acute stress reactions”, — law enforcement officials said.

High-rise residential buildings were damaged in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts; a university dormitory in the Solomianskyi district; and private houses in the Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi districts of Kyiv.

Cars parked in the courtyards of damaged buildings and a service station building were destroyed.

Kyiv region

As a result of the attack on the Kyiv region, a civilian woman was killed and 14 people were injured. Eight of the injured were hospitalized, while six received medical assistance on the spot without hospitalization.

In particular, in the Bila Tserkva district, a woman was killed and a man was wounded.

“On a highway, a truck driver — a resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region — sustained shrapnel wounds to the back. In the Vyshhorod district, five people, including a child born in 2017, suffered acute stress reactions; they were provided medical assistance on the spot”, — the statement said.

Damage was recorded in the Bila Tserkva, Vyshhorod, Boryspil, Bucha, and Obukhiv districts. Residential buildings, enterprises, municipal facilities, and critical infrastructure facilities were damaged.
