In the Lyman sector, there is an onslaught of various types of drones. Present-day Lyman resembles a city from a futuristic Hollywood thriller.

This was stated on the air of Army TV by Rostyslav Yashchyshyn, Head of the Communications Section of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

According to him, drones in this sector are currently used primarily against logistics — everyone understands how important it is to destroy or at least damage it. By rough estimates, the enemy now uses about 70% fiber-optic drones and 30% analog UAVs.

“Recently, when I was falling asleep, I turned on some old movie, Terminator 2. It started with something like — if I’m not mistaken — ‘Los Angeles, 2028.’ I looked at it and thought: no, this is Lyman in 2025. It’s all the same. Robots are flying, driving, shooting. Literally every day the number and variety of drones grows and increases”, — said the Head of the Communications Section of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

As for enemy assault troops, Rostyslav Yashchyshyn noted that the Russian command is simply “crudely mocking” its own people. And at times, it is even disgusting to watch.

“One of the mortar crew members of a mechanized battalion says: a ‘comrade from the swamps’ came to visit us. He came looking truly miserable, terrified — it was painful even to look at him. They say a soldier is supposed to inspire fear. But he inspired only pity. And when we looked into his backpack, do you know what was there? A flag. He was supposed to just wave that flag somewhere”, — Rostyslav Yashchyshyn recounted.
