Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the russian oil terminal “Tamannneftegaz”, an ammunition depot, and a site for the storage, preparation, and launch of strike UAVs.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, as part of efforts to reduce the military-economic potential of the russian aggressor, on the night of December 22, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Tamannneftegaz oil terminal in russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
It is noted that Tamannneftegaz is the operating company of the Taman transshipment complex handling crude oil, petroleum products, and liquefied hydrocarbons.
“A series of explosions was recorded. Damage to a pipeline, two piers, and two vessels was reported, as well as fires over an area exceeding 1,000 square meters and at least one vessel. In addition, a fire broke out in the tank farm area. The terminal is part of russia’s energy rear, supporting the financing and logistics of the occupiers’ military operations”, — the statement said.
Also, using a Ukrainian-made missile, a temporary basing point of watercraft of the 92nd River Boat Brigade in Olenivka, in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea, was hit.
“A significant fire was observed at the impact site. The extent of the damage is being clarified”, — the General Staff reported.
In addition, in order to partially disrupt the enemy’s logistics system on the Pokrovsk axis, fire damage was inflicted on an ammunition depot of an enemy motorized rifle regiment in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. According to preliminary information, the target was destroyed.
To partially destroy stocks of strike UAVs and reduce the intensity of the use of Shahed- and Geran-type drones against Ukraine, storage, preparation, and launch sites for strike UAVs were hit in the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk, Donetsk region. A fire was observed.
