The Ministry of Defense summed up the week, which included new air defense systems from allies, billions of dollars in assistance, and billions of hryvnias allocated for drones.

A weekly summary video was released on December 20.

The video included the following points:

  • two Patriot systems and a ninth IRIS-T from Germany, as well as a contract to produce 200 Bohdana self-propelled artillery systems;

  • $45 billion — a record level of international military assistance in 2025;

  • 12 billion hryvnias for drones through DOT-Chain Defence;

  • nearly 1,000 interceptor drones received by the military every day;

  • fortification construction: a report on progress;

  • the needs of female service members for uniforms and underwear — fully met.
