President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Kupiansk direction, where he met with Ukrainian servicemembers and acknowledged their combat achievements in containing Russian occupation forces.
This was reported by the Head of State in a post on his official page.
Support for troops in the frontline
During the visit, the President personally greeted the defenders carrying out combat missions on this section of the front and thanked all units defending the Kupiansk direction and eliminating the occupiers.
“Many Russians talked about Kupiansk — we see the real results of our warriors”, — Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
Frontlines results — strength on diplomacy
The President stressed that the successes of Ukrainian troops on the battlefield directly influence Ukraine’s positions on the international stage.
According to him, strong positions within the country form Ukraine’s arguments in discussions on ending the war and achieving a just peace.
Gratitude to the Ground Forces
Volodymyr Zelensky also addressed the Ukrainian Ground Forces, highlighting their key role in holding back the enemy and protecting the country.
“I am proud of you. Thank you to every warrior”, — the President stated.
He also emphasized that it is thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukraine’s defenders that the country continues to hold its defense and uphold its freedom.
