During the night of 12 December (from 18:00 on 11 December), the enemy attacked with 80 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Herbera types, as well as other types of drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched the attack from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo in the Russian Federation, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. About 50 of them were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense assets shot down/suppressed 64 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Herbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.
Eight locations recorded impacts from 12 strike UAVs, and three locations reported the fall of debris from downed drones.
