During the night of 8 December (starting from 18:00 on 7 December), the enemy launched an attack using 149 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and other types of drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy attacked from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russia), as well as Donetsk and Chauda (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). Around 90 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 131 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Sixteen strike UAV impacts were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at four locations.
