The Air Defence personnel of the Air Command “West” have received another IRIS-T SLM/SLS air defence system, which has already demonstrated high effectiveness.

9 TARGETS DESTROYED
The unit entrusted with this modern weapon has been demonstrating accuracy and effectiveness from its very first days of combat duty. In a short period of time, the air defenders destroyed nine targets:
- 5 Kh-101 cruise missiles
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles
- 2 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs
“A RELIABLE AND EFFECTIVE WEAPON”
The unit commander emphasized that the air defence missile system has proven itself well.
“The IRIS-T air defence system has proven to be a reliable and effective weapon”, — the unit commander said.
He added that the unit operates 24/7, protecting facilities from air attacks in different directions and regions of the country.
