Throughout October, the intensity of hostilities on the front remained high. The number of recorded combat engagements increased compared to September.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 5,480 combat engagements occurred in October. During the month, their daily number repeatedly exceeded 200. The highest number of engagements was recorded on October 9 — 245.
Enemy air activity also increased. In addition, in October, the enemy carried out nearly 140,000 artillery strikes, including 3,353 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
