The Ministries of Defense of Ukraine and Germany have agreed on a long-term partnership in the field of digitalization
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed an additional agreement with the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany on cooperation in the digitalization of the defense sector for 2026–2028.
According to the report, the agreement provides for financial support of key projects — DELTA, Army+, Reserve+, and other digital transformation initiatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This agreement is a signal that support for the digitalization of the defense sector is growing. In this way, our allies confirm that technology provides a significant advantage on the battlefield. We are grateful to our partners for their long-term involvement in the digitalization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, — emphasized Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization.
The strategic partnership defines the following key areas:
- Support for the development, testing, and technical maintenance of the Army+ and Reserve+ applications.
- Development of functions, scaling, and protection of the DELTA combat system infrastructure.
- Expansion of the digital ecosystem: digitalization of personnel, property, and logistics management; the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace; the Armed Forces Medical Information System, and others.
- Strengthening cybersecurity, including the expansion of the Ministry of Defense’s Cyber Incident Response Center.
