Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, conducted a working visit to the Dobropillia direction.

He reported this on social media.

“Together with the commanders of units of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, I analyzed the progress in completing the assigned tasks. I specified tasks taking into account the current situation and emphasized the importance of preserving the lives of our soldiers. Our defense forces have split the so-called ‘Dobropillia bulge’ of the enemy and are doing everything to inflict maximum losses on the Russian occupiers”, – the Commander-in-Chief’s statement reads.

Over the past day, control was restored over an additional 2.2 sq. km of Ukrainian territory. Strike-and-search operations were also conducted to eliminate the enemy across 3 sq. km of the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. Our assault units advanced from 100 m to 1,400 m in certain directions.

During the combat operations, 52 occupiers were eliminated, and total enemy losses over the day amounted to 80 personnel.

Overall, since the start of the counteroffensive operation in the Pokrovsk district, 177.8 sq. km have been liberated, and 198.9 sq. km cleared of saboteurs.

Total Russian occupier losses on the Dobropillia direction as of this morning amount to approximately 3,320 personnel, of which 1,864 are irrecoverable. The invaders lost 971 units of weapons and military equipment, including: 14 tanks, 38 armored combat vehicles, 202 artillery systems, 5 MLRS, 453 vehicles, 61 motorcycles and ATVs, 1 specialized vehicle, and 197 UAVs.

During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief also held a working meeting with the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

“We discussed issues related to: ensuring the conduct of combat operations and defense of settlements in the region; anti-drone equipment for road infrastructure. We are working together toward a common goal”, – Oleksandr Syrskyi stated.
