Why can’t the war be won with drones alone, and what role do assault units play in modern warfare? How…
The fighters of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade, who have been fighting on Swedish CV90 infantry fighting vehicles for over two and a half years, shared their unique experience in using them.
This was reported in a video on the 21st Brigade’s page.
“When, two and a half years ago, the Swedish government delivered CV90 combat vehicles to Ukraine, they were immediately sent to where they were needed most — the frontline”, — the brigade says.
Since then, these “Swedish beasts” have gone through dozens of battles: destroying the enemy, withstanding massive shelling, and saving the lives of Ukrainian warriors in critical situations. They have proven that they are capable of performing the most complex tasks while keeping their crews alive.
“Our experience has been useful not only for Ukraine. More and more countries are choosing the CV90 for their armies, and new enterprises are being involved in its production”, — the unit emphasized.
In the full video on the brigade’s channel, those who know these vehicles best share their impressions: an officer and company commander with the callsign “Neo,” sergeant-instructor “Zmiya,” and mechanic-driver Oleksiy.
