Deep strikes by Ukraine’s Defence Forces have knocked out more than half of Russia’s oil refining capacity.

Ukraine’s Defence Minister Evgeniy Khmara said this.

According to him, recent strikes have hit the KINEF, Ust-Luga, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Perm, Ilsky, Saratov, Syzran and other oil refineries.

The minister noted that although the consequences of Ukrainian operations are not always visible immediately, the impact of the strikes accumulates over time and produces tangible results.

“This is the result of carefully planned, systematic and consistent actions aimed at weakening Russia’s war machine and destroying its military and economic potential. The 51% of oil refining capacity hit is a significant blow to the enemy’s economy, its ability to wage aggression and supply its military forces. Our deep strikes continue to bring the war to Russian territory,” Yevhenii Khmara said.

That is why long-range strike UAVs, which allow Ukraine to hit targets deep inside Russia, remain one of the Ministry of Defence’s priorities.

“This year, we have tripled production and procurement. This is not the limit. We will continue to scale up our deep-strike capabilities. We are systematically depriving the enemy of resources needed to wage war,” the ministry said.
