From September 21 to 27, units of the Ukraine Armed Forces struck a number of important enemy targets on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
The strikes primarily targeted enterprises of Russia’s military-industrial complex.
On the night of September 25, the Iskra Plant Research and Production Enterprise in Ulyanovsk was struck. The facility is part of the Almaz-Antey concern and produces components for military-industrial enterprises, including electronic equipment and weapons systems.
In Yefremov, Tula Region, a synthetic rubber plant was struck, while in Voronezh, the Voronezhsintezkauchuk facility was hit. Both enterprises are involved in the production of solid rocket propellant, including for Iskander ballistic missiles.
On the night of September 26, the Azov Optical and Mechanical Plant in Azov, Rostov Region, was struck. The facility is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation and produces equipment for missile, artillery and anti-tank weapons.
Significant damage was also inflicted on Russia’s oil refining industry. The targets included Bashneft-UNPZ and the Kuibyshev Refinery, LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez, as well as the Novoshakhtinsk and Ilsky oil refineries. The combined designed capacity of these facilities exceeds 40 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
Another area targeted was infrastructure supporting attack UAV operations. In the area of Tsimbulov in Orel Region, a site used for the storage, preparation and launch of UAVs was struck, along with at least three storage buildings and launch systems. A similar facility was also hit in the area of the city of Donetsk.
Russian air-defence radar systems were also systematically targeted. The strikes hit 35N6 Kasta, P-18, P-18 Terek and 64L6 Gamma-S1 radars, as well as other systems.
In addition, ammunition, fuel and lubricants, and logistics and materiel storage facilities, along with other important enemy targets, were struck.
“Striking such facilities belonging to the Russian aggressor is Ukraine’s exercise of its inherent right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter and is aimed at reducing the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed.
