Ukraine has presented its partners with the key needs of its Defence Forces for 2026 at the Operational Force Development Framework (OFDeF) conference.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence reports this.

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for European Integration Serhii Boiev took part in the OFDeF conference, which brought together representatives of the military leadership and defence ministries of partner states. Around a hundred generals from NATO and Gulf countries attended.

At the meeting, Serhii Boiev briefed partners on the war plan and the challenges facing Ukraine’s armed forces, and set out the key needs of the Defence Forces. The areas requiring particular attention in 2026 include:

  • air defence;
  • drones;
  • long-range artillery.

The two sides paid particular attention to the need to speed up arms deliveries.

The conference also discussed developing the capabilities of Ukraine’s defence industry.

“Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation with international partners, attracting investment and establishing joint production facilities, in particular in unmanned systems, ammunition and other modern strike assets,” the statement reads.

As ArmyInform reported earlier, US President Donald Trump has taken a final decision to grant Ukraine licences to produce missiles for Patriot systems.
