Protecting Gas Stations and Ukrzaliznytsia and Increasing EW Procurement: President of Ukraine Holds Headquarters Meeting
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced decisions made at a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on infrastructure protection.

One of the key issues was contracts for producing protection systems for Ukrzaliznytsia, gas station networks and other critical enterprises that are important targets for russian strikes.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, intelligence agencies reported on the areas receiving the greatest attention from russian forces in line with the enemy’s plans.
Relevant decisions have already been made to protect the designated facilities.
In particular, Ukraine will strengthen its electronic warfare capabilities and increase EW procurement. Supply contracts have already been confirmed.
The operation of designated mobile fire groups and air defence lines will also be reorganized.
The President separately instructed the Ministry of Finance to provide additional resources for logistics needs.
Joint steps with international partners to ensure logistics security in border areas with EU countries and Moldova were also discussed.
The Headquarters meeting included a report on Ukrzaliznytsia’s capabilities to repair rolling stock and ensure the supply of necessary equipment.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the importance of maintaining partners’ support for Ukrzaliznytsia and involving state-owned banks in supporting the company.
The Government is also preparing decisions on backup logistics routes in frontline regions. Algorithms for combining rail and bus routes have already been developed.
Tasks related to protecting designated critical infrastructure facilities have also been updated. Details of these decisions are not being disclosed.
Earlier, ArmyInform reported that on September 11, jet-powered Shaheds deliberately targeted gas stations in Kyiv. On September 12, russian drones attacked railway infrastructure in Lutsk and Fastiv, while the President stressed that EW troops divert hundreds of drones from cities and communities every day. The following day, the enemy struck the locomotive of a passenger train near the border with Poland.
