Ukrainian manufacturers have already created prototypes of systems designed to counter jet-powered drones.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this following a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

According to him, Ukraine, together with weapons manufacturers, is working on solutions to counter jet-powered “Shaheds” and other russian weapons used to attack civilians.

“The task is not an easy one, but prototypes already exist,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The main task now is to bring these developments to effective deployment as quickly as possible and ensure the necessary production volumes. The president thanked Ukrainian engineers, developers and manufacturers working on such solutions.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the russians are changing their tactics for using strike drones, so Ukraine must adapt its defensive systems just as quickly.
