Ukrainian intelligence has published data on the Russian enterprises that manufacture components for the Su-35S.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence reported this.

On the War&Sanctions portal, the Defence Intelligence has published an interactive 3D model of the Su-35S multirole fighter along with information on 79 enterprises involved in its production.

Russian forces use the Su-35S to escort strike groups of Su-34 fighter-bombers and to cover ground troops and military facilities. These aircraft are also used to intercept Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles and to counter Ukrainian air defences.

The published list includes enterprises that design and manufacture engines and fuel systems, control, communications, guidance and electronic warfare systems, and air-launched missiles for the Su-35S.

Twenty-two of the enterprises on the list are not under sanctions from any state in the sanctions coalition.

These include PJSC Rubin Aviation Corporation, which supplies aircraft wheels; PJSC Gidroavtomatika, a manufacturer of fuel system control units for the Su-35S; and JSC Oktava Research Institute, which carried out development work during the fighter’s design phase.

The Defence Intelligence noted that synchronising sanctions against every link in Russia’s military-industrial complex is important for weakening its ability to produce weapons and for creating the conditions to establish a just peace.
